Why Quality Score
directly hits your CPC.

Expected CTR

How likely users are to click your ad when they see it โ€” based on your keyword's historical performance. Low = your ad copy isn't resonating with the intent behind the search.

Ad relevance

How closely your ad copy matches the keyword's theme. "Below average" usually means the keyword is in the wrong ad group, or your headline doesn't contain the keyword.

Landing page experience

How relevant and useful your landing page is to someone who clicked your ad. Low scores mean the page content doesn't match what the user was looking for.

The CPC impact

Each QS point above or below 7 affects your CPC by roughly 16%. A keyword at QS 4 can cost 2ร— more than the same keyword at QS 8 for the same position.

How to export from
Google Ads.

Quality Score is a custom column โ€” you need to add it before exporting. Takes about 90 seconds.

Go to Campaigns โ†’ Keywords โ†’ Search keywords in the left sidebar.

Click the Columns icon (top right of the table) โ†’ Modify columns.

Under Quality Score, add: Quality Score, Exp. CTR, Ad relevance, Landing page exp. Then click Apply.

Also make sure Avg. CPC, Impressions, Clicks, and Conversions are included in your columns.

Click the download icon and choose CSV. Upload that file here.
